Baidu announced the official launch of the Miaoda App at its Create2026 AI Developer Conference, marking a significant step in the commercialization of AI-powered application generation. The mobile version of the app is now available for download across major app stores, opening access to a broader base of developers and users.
According to Baidu, the app represents a breakthrough in autonomous development capabilities. Notably, Miaoda itself was created by a single developer, with approximately 99% of its code generated by the platform’s own AI system. This milestone highlights the growing maturity of generative AI tools in software engineering, significantly lowering technical barriers and accelerating development cycles.
Early adoption of the platform has already demonstrated strong economic potential. Baidu revealed that some early-stage developers leveraging Miaoda have generated revenues of up to 10 million yuan, underscoring the platform’s viability as both a development tool and a commercial engine within the digital economy.
In parallel with the consumer-facing launch, Baidu also introduced the enterprise version of Miaoda. Designed to extend beyond simple application generation, the enterprise offering focuses on enabling scalable production-level deployment. It aims to help businesses transform ideas into functional applications through minimal input, advancing toward the vision of “building an app with a single sentence.”
The dual launch signals Baidu’s broader ambition to redefine software development workflows through AI, positioning Miaoda as a key driver in the transition from manual coding to intelligent, automated application creation.
