OutSystems deepened its strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) on June 3, 2026, unveiling an expanded suite of enterprise artificial intelligence capabilities designed to accelerate the adoption of agentic systems while addressing persistent structural challenges in enterprise IT environments.
Announced in Singapore, the partnership integrates the OutSystems Agentic Systems Platform with key AWS technologies, including Kiro, AWS Transform, and Amazon Bedrock. The combined offering is positioned to help enterprises overcome three major barriers to AI deployment at scale: fragmented model ecosystems, entrenched legacy infrastructure, and the growing need for robust governance in AI-native development.
Woodson Martin, Chief Executive Officer of OutSystems, described the emergence of agentic systems as a defining architectural shift for modern enterprises. He emphasized that the collaboration with AWS aims to bridge the divide between legacy systems and next-generation AI-driven architectures, enabling organizations not only to accelerate development cycles but also to establish a new foundation for governed, intelligent business systems.
As part of the expanded initiative, OutSystems introduced Legacy Modernization Services powered by AWS Transform. The solution leverages AI to convert aging enterprise technologies, including COBOL and Lotus Notes, into modern, high-performance applications built for agentic environments. By automating the modernization process, the service seeks to reduce technical debt while unlocking new economic value from legacy systems.
The partnership also includes native integration with Kiro, AWS’s agentic development environment. This integration allows developers to operate within familiar coding ecosystems while embedding governance, security, and reliability directly into the development lifecycle. Through this capability, OutSystems becomes seamlessly accessible within Kiro, enabling teams to build, deploy, and orchestrate agentic systems without disrupting established workflows.
In addition, OutSystems launched Agentic Enterprise Orchestration and Agentic Solutions powered by Amazon Bedrock. These offerings are designed to address the growing complexity of managing multiple AI models by providing centralized orchestration across diverse model ecosystems. Enterprises can dynamically route workloads to the most efficient and cost-effective models, improving both performance and operational efficiency.
