Compal Electronics Inc. has announced a strategic collaboration with GMI Cloud, a Silicon Valley-based AI infrastructure provider, to advance the deployment of next-generation AI systems tailored for large-scale inference and emerging agentic AI workloads.

Under this partnership, GMI Cloud will adopt Compal’s high-performance GPU server platforms, engineered to meet the accelerating demands of large-scale AI training and inference. This deployment is positioned as a cornerstone for GMI Cloud’s expansion into AI-driven services and data-centric applications.

As AI compute requirements continue to surge, cloud operators are increasingly scaling infrastructure to support complex workloads, including large language models, real-time AI services, and agentic AI systems. Compal brings its expertise in high-density server design, advanced thermal management, and system integration to ensure that this infrastructure is efficient, reliable, and rapidly deployable at scale.

“As AI workloads evolve toward large-scale inference and agentic AI applications, infrastructure must meet higher density, efficiency, and speed requirements,” said Alan Chang, Vice President of Infrastructure Solutions Business Group at Compal. “We are proud to support GMI Cloud in creating infrastructure optimized for next-generation AI deployment in real-world scenarios.”

Alex Yeh, Founder and CEO of GMI Cloud, added, “As AI moves from experimental models to operational deployment, scalable inference infrastructure is critical. Our collaboration with Compal strengthens the foundation required to deliver agentic AI workloads and inference services on a global scale.”

In addition to the deployment, Compal and GMI Cloud will jointly showcase their collaboration at COMPUTEX 2026. At Compal’s booth (M0804), attendees can explore GMI Cloud’s latest agentic AI and inference-driven applications, demonstrating how advanced infrastructure enables real-world AI service deployment. GMI Cloud will also feature Compal’s SGX30-2 high-performance AI server platform at its booth (R0302), highlighting its NVIDIA HGX B300 compatibility, high-density deployment design, advanced thermal management, and system-level integration capabilities.

This partnership underscores Compal’s ongoing commitment to supporting emerging cloud providers and AI infrastructure operators, enabling efficient deployment of AI systems worldwide through its global manufacturing footprint and robust supply chain.
