Tencent has officially launched the public beta of its self-developed AI design agent platform, Ardot, marking a notable step in integrating artificial intelligence into product design and development workflows.
The company described Ardot as an AI-driven platform that streamlines both product design and R&D collaboration, aiming to reduce the gap between concept and execution.
According to Tencent, users can input interface requirements using natural language, after which Ardot generates editable design drafts in real time through a streaming process. The platform also enables one-click conversion of design outputs into code, significantly shortening the traditional development cycle and lowering the technical barrier for non-engineering participants.
In addition to design generation, Ardot incorporates collaborative features tailored for team environments. Multiple users can engage simultaneously through real-time comments, annotation feedback, and version comparison tools, allowing for faster iteration and more transparent communication across product teams. These capabilities position Ardot as a unified workspace where designers, developers, and stakeholders can collaborate more efficiently.
Tencent further revealed that an Ardot WeChat Mini Program will be launched in the near future, expanding accessibility and enabling users to interact with the platform within the company’s widely used ecosystem. The move underscores Tencent’s broader strategy to embed AI capabilities across its product suite and strengthen its presence in enterprise productivity tools.
