
TripWorks has launched a new AI-powered chatbot called A.N.I.E. (Assistant for Next-gen Interactive Engagement), designed to enable tour and activity operators to complete bookings directly within a conversational interface, eliminating the need to redirect customers to external booking pages.
The system was introduced following its debut at Arival San Diego 2024 and targets long-standing operational challenges in the tours and activities industry, including high booking abandonment rates, repetitive customer inquiries, and customer drop-offs during checkout flows. According to the company, A.N.I.E. is built to bridge the gap between customer intent and confirmed reservations by keeping the entire booking journey inside a single chat experience.
